About the Adult Concert Band

In 1970, the band was reorganized into its present two groups. The Marching Band consists of adults and high school students while the Concert Band membership is limited to post high school age musicians.

The adult Concert Band provides entertainment throughout the community, performing summer concerts in the parks and winter concerts at numerous venues in the Twin Cities, while the Marching Band appears in several parades each year.

Rehearsals are open to all adults.  There are no fees.  There are no try-outs.  The band rehearsals are generally on Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the stage in the auditorium at FAIR School Crystal, 3915 Adair Ave. N. Crystal, MN. 55422  The band usually does not meet the month of August.

The band selects a Band Council to assist in social and musical direction for the group.  The current Band Council is:
